The After Christmas Wrap Up!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

We had a great Christmas! I can't believe that a week has already passed by! Abigale has received lots of spoiling - during the holiday and afterwards as we visit with my family in Houston through New Years. Grammy has been feeding her cookies left and right and she's finally gaining some weight - maybe that's what I was doing wrong all this time!

My mom and I have been bargain shopping the last two days - and I have had GREAT luck! I bought a Christmas tree at 75% off - plus I had two gift cards with little bits of money left on them - so when all was said and done I paid $15 for a brand new 7.5 ft pre-lit tree!!! So excitied about that! I also splurged on a little 4 ft white Christmas tree - it reminds me of the aluminum one that my grandma put up every year. :)

I also found some GREAT clearance deals at Old Navy! Finally bought some new jeans I have been needing and actually bought a size smaller! woohoo! I also found a great denim skirt - for less than $3 might I add - and it was TWO sizes smaller than what I've been wearing - that felt good to buy!
I've also found lots of good little buys - so all in all it has been a very productive couple of days.

Speaking of productive, I finished a new kit :) Snazzy Winter! I LOVE the colors, and will try to post a layout with it soon!

Have a great New Year everyone!!!

December 20 at 11:00 pm Eastern

Join us for tons of fun in the Digiscrappin Chat room! This one is scheduled for you night owls - or busy moms who need a break after getting little ones to bed for the night!!

Please measure your calendar before the crop - I will provide measurements - but calendars may vary by brand! These little pocket calendars are great - I have found them in the dollar section of Michaels and Target as well as at most Dollar Stores!! Calendars with removable plastic covers work great - they will protect your design after you are done!!!

There will be a posting bonus for posting before midnight on the 12 day (Dec 21)!!!

My exciting news!

I forgot about my exciting news - well exciting to me!!

First, I lost 6.2 pounds at my ww meeting this week - yay me!!

Second, Abigale drank milk from a straw today!! yay Abigale!! :)

Okay, they may be small things, but just had to share! :)

Really getting back to work now!

Burning the Midnight Oil....

So I'm up working on the BRAND NEW Digishop - it will have an all new look to it :) I'm also up working on Christmas projects, that I have of course procrastinated on....and would it not be for printing and shipping and what not I would procrastinate a bit longer! :)

Yesterday's project were really fun popcorn and candy bar wrappers! I think I'm going to make a few for my neighbors - holiday spirit and all :) I used my Peppermint Dreams kit, and did a scraplift of Angi's very cute wrapper! The picture below is the before - before I wrap it around popcorn :) I'll try to post a new picture after I do that!

Today's project was CD labels - how fun! I have never made one before, but I think it adds that special touch (spoken in a Legally Blond voice). I used the crop kit and added my own stitches. I'll leave you with my little projects as I get back to work work work!

Scrapbooking Magazine

Found this fun quiz on Suzy's blog!! I think it's pretty accurate for me :)

ck
You are Creating Keepsakes! You are on the cutting
edge of scrapbooking. You keep yourself
up-to-date on all the latest techniques and
products because scrapbooking is an artistic
expression and you want to be aware of all your
options. Heritage is important to you, and you
want future generations to fully understand
their heritage through your scrapbooks.
Because heritage and heirlooms are priceless,
you are willing to spend whatever it takes to
get the perfect page, although a lot of times
you end up making the finishing touches by hand
and saving yourself a lot of money. While you
hope that future generations will appreciate
your scrapbooks, you are content just knowing
that you have done all to preserve memory that
you can.

Which Scrapbook Magazine Are You?

Busy Weekend!

We had so much fun last weekend! We took Abigale to the Pumpkin Patch! :) It was really nice and we took LOTS of pictures! She was so cute, but really unsure about all the business of the patch! We're hoping to make it a yearly trip.

I also had some much needed girl time Friday night. I went to a crop at a scrapbook store with two good friends of mine. Although I'm not doing much paper scrapbooking anymore, I had a great time!

Photos coming soon!

Finally Getting the Hang of This!!

Yay! I think I'm finally getting this blog stuff figured out! I was able to add my design team blinkies - except for Sarah's it was to wide and threw off everything. I'll have to work on either reducing it or creating something that would work.

I'm working on my sites and I'll add a things I enjoy list later!

So excitied to see everything coming together!

No Big Surprise

Still trying to figure out this blog.

I haven't posted - which is no big surprise! Once I figure out more about the formating I'll probably be posting more. I hope!

I'm testing out posting a picture....let's hope this works!

This is a recent layout of Abigale - can't believe how much she's grown and changed!!!

First Post

This is my very first post on my very first blog. Can't believe I'm joining the blog bandwagon - but it seems like fun, so I thought I would give it a try! I hope to use my blog to help with my daily journaling of what's going on in my family's life. I also hope to post digital scrapbook pages and pictures. Keep your fingers crossed that I can keep this up!
