So I had a moment tonight - Abigale went in the potty for the first time! :) I'll try to refrain from all the silly things we say as moms to get them to go, but I'm so proud that she did! :)
Let me also say that I am NOT pushing her to be potty trained. I'm not on a race against time, not competing with other moms out there, just waiting for when SHE knows the time is right.
We put the potty in the bathroom a couple of weeks ago - and we've been talking about the potty - but again no pushing. Tonight she wanted to sit on it (which she has done several times with no result) and actually went! Yay for her!! :) I understand this may be a isolated event, she may not want to even try again for a while - and that's ok! But it is a positive step in the right direction! :)
Although that is the highlight of my day lol - I actually was able to finish invitations for Abigale's birthday party and will be sending them out hopefully tomorrow. I still can't believe she'll be TWO next month...were did the time go?? :)
I also got a layout done, but I can't share yet! :)
I got some really great news from Ashley today! My first class over at Polka Dot Potato - "Beyond Basics" is sold out!!! There are still several classes available in September, but it's really encouraging to know I'll have a full audience for my first!!! :) So if you are a DFW scrapper and are interested in learning more about digital scrapbooking - come take a class!!! :)
That all being said, it's time for bed - I'm one tired Mama! :)

and why can't you share your layout yet? Is it with a kit that hasn't hit the public yet?? Or is there a more sinster reason? ;)
haha, it's for not sinster reasons - and it's not the pics you have in mind! lol :) Just hasn't hit the stores yet! :)
