I went to a shower last weekend for a soon to be new family member. Kritin and Robbie's cousin Lee are getting married May 5th. They are such a cute couple, I'm sure they'll be very happy! PLUS now I'm not the new kid on the block - Robbie was the first grandchild to get married....so I've been the only spouse on that level. It'll be nice to have a little company ;)
The weather has just been beautiful here, we spent Wednesday afternoon at the park with friends. Abigale is getting to be so independent - I feel like I'm constantly saying that - but she is! She was able to climb the stairs, cross the bridge, and go down the slide without even a glance my way for help! She's always been very competent - she's just so small - things like getting up to the first step can be hard. But - no worries, it's not stopping her, and barely slowing her down at that!
I did my first layout for the new creative team! I was inspired by Katie's March Month of Memories as March 2nd is Read across America day. I also took a little inspiration from Simple Scrapbooking - for the use of the Martha logo style for READ. I'm still not 100% sure I'm happy with the layout - I wanted to keep it simple but....just seemes like it's missing something! CC welcome :) Credits: Font is CK Easy goin' and the tiny flowers are by Dani Mogstad.
